Bruce Turnquist, Psy.D.

Bruce Turnquist is a clinical psychologist who has been in practice since 1994. Prior to private practice, Dr. Turnquist served as an Army psychologist and chief of psychology at Kimbrough Army Hospital at Fort Meade, MD. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology, at Biola University in southern California. He then interned at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Turnquist's training is diverse, but has an emphasis in the integration of psychology and theology.

Dr. Turnquist has a general practice, yet specializes in:

David Ochinero, LCMFT

David Ochinero is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been counseling children, adolescents, adult individuals, and couples in the Annapolis area since 1992. David holds a B.S. in Family and Community Development from the University of Maryland and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theolgical Seminary in Southern California. Counseling from a Family Systems perspective, David helps people move beyond their symptoms to understand the underlying root issues. He then equips them with practical "tools" to develop healthier patterns of thinking and behaving.

David specializes in:

Meredith Hedges, Ph.D., (ABD)

Dr. Hedges is a Licensed Clincal Marriage and Family Therapist who received her training at Abilene Christian University and Texas Tech University. Prior to coming to Maryland, Dr. Hedges worked as an Adolescent and Family Therapist at a residential treatment facility for adolescent females while also teaching courses at Texas Tech.

Dr. Hedges' therapy practice includes:

Dana Timothy Peterson, Psy.D.

Dana Peterson is a clinical psychologist who has been counseling individuals, couples, and families since 1995. Dr. Peterson formerly served as Department Head of Mental Health at the U.S. Naval Academy, as well as Department Head of Psychology at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC (from where he was deployed to Iraq as the Operations Officer of a Combat Stress Platoon). Dr. Peterson received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University, in southern California. Dr. Peterson entered the U.S. Navy in 2001 and completed an APA-approved internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. His doctoral training included a strong emphasis on the integration of psychology and theology. Dr. Peterson's clinical passions include helping each person better understand how he or she is uniquely created with individual gifts, talents, abilities, and struggles, as well as educating each person on the integration of physical, emotional, and spiritual issues in order to achieve full and complete care.

Dr. Peterson specializes in:
• Individual and marital therapy
• Consultation for emotional and physical health issues
• Non-medicinal pain management therapy
• Biofeedback for anxiety reduction

Terri Polm

Terri earned her Masters in Biblical Counseling and Discipleship from the Capital Bible Seminary in Lanham, Maryland. She also holds a Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland. Terri taught at the Seminary for eight years in the Counseling Department. She also counseled there and at the Mid-Atlantic Community Church in Crofton. Terri specializes in counseling women who have experienced trauma in their lives. She also works with couples and with parents who are having various difficulties with their children. Terri is married with three grown children. She is active in her church and serves at the Bowie Crisis Pregnancy Center.
